Gardening at the farm
As a child, my grandmother and great aunts had huge wonderful gardens. And although they died when I was still in grade school, I have vivid memories of them in the garden and the huge bouquets of flowers they brought to our house in the summer. Those special memories draw me to my garden.
My mother was not much of a gardener, she had her hands full with a dozen kids…so I didn’t learn much about gardening until I became an adult. And boy, I must say there has been a lot of trial and error, but there is nothing more satisfying as picking huge buckets of flowers to share with your friends and loved one
There is nothing like fresh flowers….
