Decorating for a Winter Party for Under $5.00 per Table

Just like many of you, an extended family Christmas Party is part of our family traditions. This year the weather was on the evil side and instead of fighting it, we just decided to postpone it until after Christmas. I was kind of worried that all of the fun and festiveness would be missing or pretty droopy by the time January 7th rolled around, so I decided to redo my decorations in a Winter Land Party theme.  I already had almost all of the decorations, I had just used them in a different way for Christmas.  I was able to create a festive and fun party and still put away my Christmas tree! Ok I'll fess up -- I have been doing the winter party decorations for my previous job the last few years, and ended up with a few left over decorations -- but really most of them were mine.  Therefore, I should probably share one of my decorating secrets -- Smarty Had A Party !   Those beautiful satin runners -- 89 cents each... they are 108 inches long and very nice.  I use it for my wedding business as well for all kinds of pretty supplies. To make this table setting  I used: 1  royal blue table runner -- $.89 1/2 box of blue candy canes -- $.50 5  plastic Christmas ball in varying shades of blue and silver -  $.50 1/4 of a bag of blue floral glass filler beads from the Dollar Tree  $.50 1  round silver platter from the Dollar Tree -- $1.00 10 white snowflake decorations from the Dollar Tree $1.00 1  sparkly blue bird decorations from the Dollar Tree  $.25 2  votive candles -- $. 25 1 Mason Jar I already owned Total per table  $4.59 plus tax -- under $5.00 -- and...
